Once again Bro Gerry Price competed in the Prudential RideLondon 100 event on July 29th 2018. Gerry completed the ride in a creditable 6hrs 56mins. There were lots of hold ups and the weather was very wet. The 33000 riders in total raised over £15million for various charities. We must offer our congratulations to Gerry for a worthwhile, tremendous effort. The picture was at the finish in front of Buckingham Palace. The event is run over 3 days and it has been reported that over 1,000,000 people took part over the Fri/Sat/Sun period. Friday and Saturday is for children and parents cycling with roads closed, allowing them to see some of London's main sites and some small races for the children. Sunday is the big ride, the 100. This is followed by a full professional race with all riders finishing down The Mall. Well done Gerry! He raised £592 for Children with Cancer UK, including £100 from Neleus Lodge.
